Assistant Professor of Mathematics

The University of Pikeville's Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Responsibilities:

  • Teaching various Mathematical courses, including but not limited to preparation of lectures, lecture notes, learning objectives, PowerPoint slides, exam questions, and syllabi;
  • Participates in and recommends curriculum development and evaluation;
  • Serves on appointed committees;
  • Research and other scholarly activities;
  • Provide counseling and guidance for students; and 
  • Responsible for other duties as directed by the Dean.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Earned PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
