FWS - KYCOM, Admissions Liaison - 21-22

Must be a current KYCOM student in good academic standing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct on-campus tours of KYCOM and UPIKE campus.
  2. Facilitate ZOOM (virtual) question and answer sessions for prospective students.
  3. Use effective, respectful, and positive communication skills appropriate for diverse students, faculty, and staff.
  4. Maintain regular, ongoing and consistent communication with the Director of Medical School Admission; and work collaboratively to provide appropriate guidance to prospective students.
  5. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  6. Ability to quickly establish positive relationships with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Must be a current KYCOM student in good academic standing.
  • Tours and presentations occur throughout the week, so evening and weekend hours are required. 
  • Self-motivated and passionate with determination to provide exceptional service.
  • Provides a positive example to students by supporting the University’s mission.

Work Schedule:

The priority work schedule will vary depending on student availability.  

  • Sunday – Saturday: varies depending on workload
