FWS - Student Success - Academic Excellence - Tutor - 21-22

Responsibilities • Assists students in individual or group sessions about major principles or topics in content area o Set realistic goals for each tutoring sessions with students o Assist students in acquiring study skills o Respects student's needs, abilities, and confidentialities • Represent the CAE in a professional manor o Interactions with faculty, staff and other campus constituents o Represent the office at various events o Maintain a positive mindset while doing the business of the center • Assist Center in development of marketing materials o Tutoring videos o Print materials o Online content - social media, Canvas, etc • Attend trainings, meetings, and in-service functions for the center • Maintain accurate records o Tutoring contacts o Time sheets • Remain open to the ever-evolving nature of the new center and working with the professional staff

Preferred Skills: • Computer knowledge, i.e. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Social Media & New Technology • Attention to detail. • Strong active listening abilities. • Written & verbal communication. • Customer focused. • Willingness to learn new things.

Work Schedule: Varies depending on workload
