FWS - Athletics, Cheerleading Graduate Office Assistant - 21-22

Responsibilities: Communication • Work along side the coach in developing monthly schedules and arranging times in the facilities. • Maintain and run squad social media page. Work with the training staff to schedule treatment times. • Secure needed training equipment and supplies for all practices. • Help enroll the team into Nationals and Mid South Competitive Competition • Prepare PowerPoint and video for recruiting. • Assist coach and undergraduate students in developing and maintaining current list of high school senior cheerleaders. • Assist coach in setting up game visits for prospective cheerleaders. Oversee work study of Undergraduates and ensure that all tasks described are done efficiently. Graduate student will work on assisting in cheerleading appearances and gameday operations. Assist in scheduling internal and external cheer appearances and mascot appearances. Graduate worker will help assist with youth stunt clinics. Use business management skills to ensure fundraisers and sponsors are working with the team and ensure the students are handling the responsibility of being a student and athlete.

Preferred Skills: • Computer knowledge, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media & New Technology. • Attention to detail. • Strong active listening abilities. • Written & verbal communication. • Willingness to learn new things.

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Sunday: Closed • Monday-Saturday: Varies depending on workload
