FWS - Admissions, Office Assistant - 22-23

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet, assist, and talk to prospective, and current students, as well as, parents on the phone and in person, and direct them to the appropriate department as needed.
  2. Assist with the input of daily admissions data for the office. (Transcripts, scores, and applications.)
  3. Helping staff members with various projects/tasks. (Admissions for UG, KYCOM, and KYCO).
  4. Assist in maintaining, scanning, and linking documents for prospective students with the Image Now system. (Inquiries and Applicants).
  5. Participate in the GROWL preparations for registration.
  6. Maintain paper in printers.
  7. Run errands.
  8. Pick up and open mail from the Campus Mailroom.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  1. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Sunday: Closed • Monday-Saturday: Varies depending on workload

Relationships:

Position requires daily contact with co-workers, supervisor, student workers, students, parents, faculty, staff, various campus departments, and the public, in order to help provide assistance, answer inquiries, and receive/provide information.
