FWS - Information Technology, A/V and Events Support Assistant, Level II - 22-23

 This entry level A/V (Audio/Visual) and Events Assistant position works with the A/V Coordinator.  Basic training and hands on experience with the following is provided.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Will have the opportunity to learn video editing, camera operations, live streaming, and video switcher operations on professional equipment.
  • Learn to conduct sound and video checks.
  • Check, replace batteries, and distribute A/V equipment as needed to equip musicians, vocalists, speakers, etc.
  • Arrive prior to the scheduled event.
  • Coordinate with other event team members, vendors, news outlets, etc.
  • Learn how to maintain, inventory, and clean A/V equipment.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in learning in how to care for professional grade A/V equipment.
  • Desire for teamwork.

Work Schedule:

  • We will work with your schedule and availability, including nights and weekends.

Conditions:  Workplace conditions may include work in heat, cold, wetness, and humidity

Physical Demands:  Physical demands to do the job may require keyboarding, reaching/handling, stooping/kneeling, crouching/crawling, pushing up to 40 lbs, Pullin up to 40 lbs, lifting up to 40 lbs, carrying up to 40 lbs, climbing, balancing.  

Pay Rate:  $10/hr
