FWS - Office of Advancement, Student Phonathon Caller - Spring '23

Responsibilities:

1. Student Caller must be able to ask for a renewed donation from alumni and friends of the university.

2. Student Caller must have good communication skills and be courteous on the phone.

3. Student Caller must be knowledgeable about recent updates/events on campus so they can inform the individuals they are calling.

4. Student Caller must be able to use provided script to communicate all essential topics to donor. This includes listening to the donor and thinking critically when responding.

5. Tasks involve multiple procedures with interrelated processes or steps.

Work involves choosing the appropriate option or procedure to follow and applying established rules and procedures.

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: * Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Work Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job: * Noise (other callers talking) Additional Comments: Located in the Coal Building building, Harless room  .  Position will be for a minimum of two weeks, and the student callers need to be available at least three of the four days each week.

Rate of Pay:  $12/hr
