Football Graduate Assistant - Defensive

The University of Pikeville (UPIKE), a NAIA School which competes in the Mid-South Conference, is seeking applications for a Defensive Graduate Assistant.

Responsibilities:   

  • Coaching a position
  • Uploading film to Hudl
  • Making highlight films/graphics using photoshop
  • Helping with equipment
  • Working with special teams
  • Holding position meetings
  • Assisting in recruiting
  • Assisting with day-to-day defensive preparation and any other areas assigned by the Head Coach or Coordinator.

Requirements:

  1. Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree
  2. Must be able to work with students and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  3. Must be accepted into the University of Pikeville Graduate School.
  4. Previous participation in collegiate football and/or coaching experience is preferred.

**Graduate Assistants receive tuition waivers of up to 6 hours of classes per semester, housing & a meal plan. However, if the GA does not reside on campus, then he/she will receive a monthly stipend in lieu of room & board. The meal plan covers the actual number of weeks that classes are in session during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
