FWS - Athletics: Sports Information, Video Production Assistant - 21-22

Responsibilities:

  • Assist UPIKE Sports information and PikeTV with preparing equipment and personnel to conduct live stream broadcast
  • Operate camera, switcher, and/or streaming computer during broadcast
  • Identify and edit highlight clips from broadcast archives to distribute on UPIKE Athletics social media channels.
  • Collaborate with PikeTV and UPIKE personnel in the shooting, production, editing and distribution of advertisements made for UPIKE Athletics
  • Work in BoxCast streaming dashboard to schedule broadcasts and import graphic content
  • Assist Alek Morgan and Lakia Bailey in planning/implementing video content into overall UPIKE Athletics marketing strategy
  • Oversee and supervise student assistants in camera operation and shot positioning.
  • Schedule camera operators and distribute appropriate equipment to UPIKE athletic events

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Saturday - Sunday: Varies depending on workload
