FWS - Art/Humanities, Weber Art Gallery Monitor - 22-23

Responsibilities: 1. Work pre-determined shifts in the Weber Gallery and are expected to work their prescheduled hours and be responsible and reliable with respect to opening, closing and monitoring the gallery when working their pre-assigned hours. 2. Greet gallery visitors and provide information about the current art exhibits to visitors as needed. 3. Supervise any viewer's behavior within the gallery, and provide guidance to gallery visitors on correct gallery behavior and protocols if necessary. 4. Help maintain the integrity of the artwork and the gallery and help install and de-install exhibits—in a careful manner—as needed. Students are expected to maintain the appearance of the show and gallery space throughout its duration. Gallery Monitors may be assigned office work for art faculty as needed. 5. Gallery hours/shifts are established with respect to a work-study's schedule and in coordination with other gallery monitors.

Gallery hours/shifts will be scheduled during normal business hours, Monday - Friday. 6. Attendants are expected to be responsible and reliable with respect to opening and closing the gallery according to their pre-established schedule, and are expected to notify their supervisor if unable to keep their schedule.

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule. • Sunday & Saturday: Closed • Monday - Friday: Varies depending on workload
