Office Manager - CCOB

The University of Pikeville is seeking a qualified professional to serve as Office Manager for the Coleman College of Business (CCOB). This individual will perform administrative duties in an office, manage the office and ensure that it operates efficiently. This person will be the point of contact for faculty and students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
  2. Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls.
  3. Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail.
  4. Manage office budget.
  5. Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group and individual meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports.
  6. Process invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and reconciliation of credit card statements and receipts.
  7. Oversee work study students.
  8. Coordinate the Internship program and Co-Op Program of the Coleman College of Business.
  9. Coordinate the information as it pertains to pursuing ACBSP accreditation, this position is not responsible for pursuing ACBSP accreditation, but the organization of documentation.
  10. Plan events such as Hall of Fame Dinner, Mock Interview Nights, Employer visits to campus etc.
  11. Point of contact for procedural questions concerning the Master's Degree Program.
  12. Plan Coleman College of Business Faculty Meetings, take meeting notes, assist with Agenda Development.
  13. In Charge of Social Media Development.
  14. Assist with contracts for Adjunct positions.
  15. Assist Coleman College of Business faculty as needed.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Relationships:

This position requires daily contact with administration, faculty, staff, students, and members of the community. These relationships are maintained through email, telephone, written, and person-to-person contact.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
