ERP Programmer/Analyst (Remote Flexibility)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an ERP Programmer/Analyst. As an ERP Programmer/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Ellucian Colleague ecosystem. This position involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ERP solutions to meet the university's business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements.
  2. Design, develop, and implement solutions within the Ellucian Colleague ERP system.
  3. Customize and configure Colleague modules to align with the university's processes.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  5. Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to recommend system enhancements.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Relationships:

Position requires daily contact with co-workers, faculty, staff, and students in order to plan, organize, and implement daily workflow and projects, as well as to train, inform, and assist with any inquiries. These relationships are maintained through e-mail, telephone, and person-to-person contact.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience as a software developer with all aspects of the software development life cycle is required.
  • Proven experience as an ERP Programmer/Analyst with expertise in the Ellucian Colleague ecosystem.
  • Strong programming skills, including proficiency in languages such as PL/SQL or Java.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, Windows server operating systems, UniData, or other PICK systems, C#, JSON, HTML, CSS, SFTP, PHP, .NET desired.
  • Working knowledge of ERPs and student information systems.
  • Experience developing programs, subroutines, computed columns, batch processes, custom screens, and web forms for Ellucian Colleague using Colleague Studio, Envision Basic, and Unibasic is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, with experience developing APIs preferred. Colleague’s Ethos preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, programming standards and practices, and general computer literacy skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse workforce, student population, and external constituents.
  • Must possess the attitude, knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to provide quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
