FWS - IT - A/V & Events Support Assistant 1 FWSITAVEVNTSP - Fall/Spring 24/25
This entry level A/V (Audio/Visual) and Events Assistant position works with the A/V Coordinator. Basic training and hands on experience with the following is provided.
Primary Responsibilities:

1. Arrive prior to the scheduled event/activity time and begin review of event schedule and other information related to the event, arrival times vary. (CSD, P)
2. Assist in configuring and deploying A/V technology around campus (CT, T)
3. Setup and teardown of A/V equipment for events (TW, P, T)
4. Check, replace batteries in, and distribute A/V equipment as needed to equip band members, vocalists, speakers, etc. (C, P, T)
5. Greet all speakers and hosts of the event to direct sound and video checks on assigned events. (EI, C, L)
6. Maintain, inventory, and properly clean all A/V equipment, utilizing best practice (CSD, TW, CT)
7. Store all A/V equipment not in use appropriately in designated storage areas (CSD, TW)
8. Camera operation and live stream video switcher operations (T)
9. Video Editing as needed.(T, CT)
10. Other Duties as assigned

Work Schedule:
- Monday through Sunday with hours depending on scheduled events and needs of the department.
