Responsibilities: and NACE Career Competencies:
- Recruit exceptional students for associate and bachelor’s programs from high schools, community and technical colleges, and colleges and universities. P/WE, CT/PS
- Communicate consistently and effectively with prospective students and their families in person, via phone, and mailing. O/WC, DT
- Represent the University at college and career fairs and other admissions hosted events. L, P/WE
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in financial aid, advising, and other campus offices to ensure a consistent and smooth transition for prospective student. L, T/C
- Interact effectively with a diverse group of faculty, staff, administrators and the rest of the University community. T/C, G/IF
- Occasional evening and weekend events P/WE
- Learn and use the best practices of the Admissions Department and the University. P/WE
- Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, communicate changes in work schedule in advance. Appropriate attire as discussed for the work environment. P/WE, CM
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Admissions. P/WE
- Develop and execute social media strategies, create and share engaging content, optimizing admissions pages, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions. T/C, G/IF, CM, DT, O/WX

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Saturday & Sunday: Closed • Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
