Responsibilities and Career Competencies:  

  1. Duties:

    1. Manage databases for the chemistry department.  CT, T
    2. Create highly engaging PowerPoint slides (including embedding media and animation into the slides.  T, CT,C
    3. Modify / create handouts for chemistry classes C, CT, T, P
    4. Type information / concepts / formulas needed to assist studnets C, CT,T,P
    5. Craft a flyer for chemistry to be shared with public relations at UPIKE for prospective students C,T, P, TW
    6. Worker may also participate in light cleaning of glassware in the chemistry stockroom and (if desired) the worker may help  / learn about solutions in the hemistry lab, how to make these solutions, and how to properly prepare chemicals for disposal. TW, P, CSD
