Responsibilities
_ We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of event staff. Our event staff is responsible for working under the instructions of the event coordinator, assuming the role of setting up events and striking setups, among other duties.
Moreover, our event staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of eventgoers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies
- Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs, tables, and building stages. (C, TW,P, CT, L, )
- Working independently under the instructions of the Event Coordinator. (C, TW,P, CT, EI, CSD, L, T)
- Ensuring the event space is setup correctly according to the event needs. (C, TW,P, CT, CSD, L, T)
- Adhering to event safety standards. (C, TW,P, CT, CSD, L, T)
- Ensuring excellent levels of customer service. (C, TW,P, CT, EI, CSD, L, T)
- Undertaking assistance with security duties. (C, TW,P, CT, CSD, L, T)
- Undertaking assistance with I.T. and A.V. duties. (C, TW,P, CT, CSD, L, T)
- Dispensing useful information to eventgoers. (C, TW,P, CT, EI, CSD, L, T)
- Inspecting equipment for damage after use and reporting that to the Event Coordinator. (C, TW,P, CT, L, T)

Education and Experience: • Previous experience working in an event setup or related field preferred. • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment. • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur. • Professional appearance and attitude are essential. • Have a working knowledge of hand tools.
Preferred Skills: • Computer knowledge, i.e. PowerPoint, Social Media & New Technology. • Attention to detail. • Customer focused. • Willingness to learn new things. • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Ability to understand and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, written and verbal communication.
Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Sunday: Varies according to workload • Monday-Saturday: Varies depending on workload
