Responsibilities:
1. Host Small Group Activities: Organize and facilitate small group activities designed to promote
interaction, collaboration, and personal growth among students. (C, P, EI, CSD, CT, L)
a. Recruit Attendees: Actively promote upcoming events and activities to fellow students
through various channels, including CampusGroups, social media, flyers, and word-ofmouth,
to ensure student participation. (C, EI, T)
i. Use innovative thinking to go beyond traditional methods. (L)
ii. Identify appropriate technology for completing specific tasks. (T)
b. Prepare for Events: Coordinate logistics for each event, including securing necessary
resources, setting up event space, and arranging any required materials or equipment.

i. Proactively anticipate needs and prioritize action steps. (CT)
ii. Ask appropriate questions for specific information from supervisors, specialists,
and others. (C)
iii. Promptly inform relevant others when needing guidance with assigned tasks. (C)
iv. Prioritize and complete tasks to accomplish organizational goals. (P)
v. Demonstrate dependability (e.g., report consistently for work or meetings). (P)
vi. Be accountable for individual and team responsibilities and deliverables. (TW)
c. Collaborate closely with faculty, staff, student organizations, and community members

i. Community Building: Solicit and use feedback from multiple cultural
perspectives to make inclusive and equity-minded decisions. (EI)

iv. Invite Participation: Extend invitations to faculty and staff to participate in small
group activities as guest speakers, mentors, or facilitators, leveraging their
expertise to enrich the student experience.
v. Provide Support: Offer assistance and support to faculty and staff members who
are interested in getting involved in student-led initiatives, including guidance
on event planning, logistics, and promotion.
vi. Promote Collaboration: Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and crossdepartmental
cooperation by facilitating interactions between students, faculty,
and staff from various academic backgrounds. (EI)
vii. Seek Feedback: Solicit feedback from faculty and staff members following their
participation in small group engagement activities, using their insights to
improve future events and initiatives. (C, P, L)
2. Facilitate Engagement: Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere during events,
encouraging active participation and fostering connections among attendees. (C, CT, EI, L)
