FWS - Marketing - MarComm Student Assistant FWSPRSTDAST - Fall/Spring 24/25

 

Responsibilities:1. Work campus events. 2. Finishing work on university publications (binding, cutting, sorting, etc.). 3. Typing/data entry using Excel and Word to merge large files. 4. Helping staff members with various projects/tasks. 5. Internet research. 6. Cleaning shelves and work areas. 7. Maintain all bulletin boards on campus by decorating and posting flyers. 8. Process newspapers for archives. 9. Maintain paper in the printer. 10. Run errands. 11. Other tasks, as needed or assigned.

Work Schedule: The priority work schedule is our open hours and during special events. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate the students' class schedule: • Sunday: No hours • Monday-Saturday: Varies depending on workload Work Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounter while performing the essential functions of this job: • Normal office environment • Heat • Cold • Noise Physical demands included here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: • Keyboarding • Reaching/handling • Stooping/kneeling • Pushing up to 20 lbs. • Lifting up to 20 lbs. Additional Comments: While performing work-study responsibilities, you are expected to be appropriately dressed. What you would wear to class would be sufficient. However, no pajamas, no short-shorts, no short dresses, or low-cut tops. Fun environment to work in.
